Pitch Prep

WIN's Pitch Prep series assists incubator companies raise outside capital.  Each year, we organize a multi-session course which includes the motivations and preferences of different investor types, how to develop a successful pitch, opportunities to present to & be critiqued by a friendly panel of investors, and coaching on term sheets and valuation.  

Sessions are held both in person and online and draw upon WIN's network of experienced investors outside of Western New York.  When appropriate, the program is deployed in real time to help companies presenting in programs including Bright Buffalo Niagara, 43North, the NYS Business Plan Competition, and for individual meetings with investors.  

Since 2014, participating companies have since raised more than $20M in outside funding from numerous sources including angels, private equity firms, state and federal programs, institutional, and other investors.
